2G OBLIGATION (called Super Green Pass in Italy)
In order to stay at Hotel Terme Merano, according to the Italian law which is valid until the 31st of march 2022, the Super Green Pass (2G: vaccinated or recovered) is required. You must therefore present a valid proof of a full vaccination cycle or recovery at Check-In if you are older then 12 years. Please be aware that the proof of recovery/vaccination has a duration of 6 months in Italy.

To enter Italy you need since the 16.12.2021:
Persons who have been vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19
- Burden of proof: a certificate proving that the person has received a full course of Covid-19 vaccinations with a vaccine recognised by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) issued no longer than 6 months ago or proof of having recovered from a Covid-19 infection within the past 6 months.
- Testing requirement: proof of a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours or a negative antigen test no older than 24 hours.
- Registration requirement: all arrivals must complete the digital passenger locator form (dPLF) before entering Italy.
When returning to your own country, we recommend to consult the respective return travel regulations.

All our employees are regularly tested or have already been vaccinated
and work with mouth-nose protection throughout the hotel. We smile a lot more, even if you may not notice our facial expressions under the masks as you used to. Highest quality standards in cleaning and cleanliness were already valid for us in the past and are even more important today. Our three spacious wellness areas Sky Spa, Garden Spa and Therme Meran are available to be used as usual. There is plenty of room to flourish! All pools, the saunas and rest / lounging areas are ready for you to relax. You can take advantage of our massage and beauty treatments without any restrictions. Our qualified staff will take care of you, pamper you professionally and in compliance with all safety standards.
Our active program will still take place, but in small groups and, if the situation requires, with mouth and nose protection.CULINARY & DELIGHT
Restaurant Olivi: We ask you to wear a mouth-nose protection at the buffet. This is not necessary when sitting at the table. Dinner will be served for the most part, as you are used to.
Bistro La Piazza: As it is a restaurant open to the public, the regulation of the 2G’s also applies here. Even as a hotel guest you must show proof of vaccination or recovery. OUT AND ABOUT IN MERANO & SURROUNDINGS
Stores, restaurants and bars are open. The Super Green Pass (2G) is required to access restaurants, bars, museums and theaters. Wearing masks is compulsory outdoors.HELP

A plus point of Hotel Therme Merano is that we offer generous space and room for our guests everywhere.
