In 2000, the artist Franz Messner created a unique cinema on the top of "Sasso rosso", in the hills above Merano with 30 seats of iron and chestnut wood, called it "rock cinema". The "belvedere" invites you to sit and enjoy the unique panorama. The view extends over the Adige valley and the surrounding mountain peaks.

After about 25 minutes' drive from the hotel, you reach the starting point of the hike in Vöran. First the trail begins briefly on an asphalt access road, then it branches off onto a somewhat steeper but easily passable forest path. This leads uphill to the open-air cinema. Total time for the way there and back is approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes.
